What happened to the old My Chemical Romance?

Personally, I love My Chem and I completely understand your opinion. Yeah, their sound has changed a lot since 'I brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love', but they still sound incredible. I mean, sure their not still cranking out stuff like Vampires Will Never Hurt You and Bury Me In Black, but some of their new stuff still taps into their roots. Destroya, Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back, Go! (Planetary), and Party Poison are slight reminders of what was. And besides, it's not like this should be too much of a shock. Listen to every song they've ever written, starting with the oldest stuff first and working your way to the present. I'm sure you'll find that even the difference between 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' and 'The Black Parade' is a bigger one than from 'The Black Parade' to now. It's not that the message has changed, just the way it sounds.
